Trainer John Hawkes is undecided if his classy three-year-old Amitola will continue on towards the VRC Oaks after the filly proved too good in today’s $70,000 SKYY BLUE Plate over 2000m at Caulfield.
”Dad’s here and he said to me after the race I don’t know if she’s a stayer and whether she’s an Oaks filly or not so he’s got a bit to think about in the next week or so,” Wayne Hawkes said.
