Sydney struck down with the Cold 2007-05-24
|
The venue Cold Start Fever
Sydney on Saturday experienced what has been referred to as the most exciting thing to happen in Sydney racing in the last 18 months and all though us Qld'ers are a little surprised as to what all the fuss was about we where still very happy with the result, but anybody that knows or watches Qld racing shouldn't have expected anything less then what they saw on the 19th of this month at Rosehill over 2400m.
I am not sure what the Cockaroaches expected when one of the L.V. Brazier Stayers ventured south, but they should have realised to travel 12 hours south and into enemy territory, that we where coming with all guns blazing, and it was only the fact that Cold Start was going into this race with only having had 1 race over 2100m in the 5 week period into the lead up of his 2nd start with in 6 weeks that saw him go down by 3/4 of a length on the line.
